Responsibilities
We are actively seeking Research Assistants with an interest in chromatin biology, gene regulation, and functional genomics to join our team
The successful candidate will have strong organizational skills and enthusiasm for working in a collaborative research environment
We investigate how disease-associated mutations in chromatin regulators and histones disrupt gene regulation
Research Assistants will support ongoing projects through basic cloning, molecular biology and tissue culture, and will have opportunities to learn CRISPR-based mutagenesis and genomics techniques
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. biology)
Strong organization and record-keeping skills with excellent attention to detail
Preferred
Prior experience with basic molecular biology techniques, including cloning and mammalian tissue culture
Commitment of at least 1-2 years
