Night Shift- Quality Assurance Technician

New Grad, Entry LevelPolyPipe is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician who will perform quality inspections and testing to ensure compliance with applicable standards. The role involves working with production personnel to maintain continuous improvement in products and services for customers.
Utilities
Responsibilities
Inspect product during the extrusion process using calipers, micrometers, tape, and weight scale
Compare product with customer specifications
Inspect and tag finished product
Issue SAP Quality Notifications as required
Test incoming raw material and maintain records
Operate diagnostic equipment needed to perform job
Issue Product Certifications
Maintain neat and orderly work area
Follow all safety requirements
Perform all other duties as assigned or required
Qualification
Required
Reading, writing, and mathematical competency testing required
Computer skills required
Ability to learn/use laboratory and inspection equipment
Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Able to step over and / or bend under objects
Able to lift up to 50 Ibs with or without reasonable assistance
Must be able to work 12-hour shifts, weekends and nights
Preferred
Experience in quality / inspection procedures preferred
