They are seeking a Junior Level Aerospace Tool Builder to set up and operate various machines and shop equipment, ensuring that all assigned activities are completed as scheduled while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities
Able to follow basic blueprints, sketches, and specifications, using hand tools, power tools, machines, and equipment
Basic understanding how to review engineering information, tool design drawings, and other specifications to determine methods and sequence of operations to fabricate tools
Able to complete small assemblies with information provided from print, BOM, and SOW
Must be able to drill, tap and ream holds
Install dowels
Deburring, paint prep, stenciling and ID of materials
Operation of a hi-low and overhead crane
Use power tools and machinery as needed
Ensure that all of the assigned activities are completed as scheduled
Must be able to achieve quality and production goals
Follow and maintain all safety protocols and housekeeping requirements
Follow OSHA safety guidelines, and ITAR compliance
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Must have the ability to operate industrial trucks and overhead cranes
1-5 years of tool builder or mold experience (aerospace or automotive)
Must have own tools including; drill motors, grind tools (DA and 90 grinder) and toolbox
Quality and safety mindset
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to take direction and work as a team
Ability to meet the physical demands of the job. Standing for long periods of time, lifting loads up to 50 pounds, bending, stooping, twisting
Good hand-eye coordination
High School Diploma or equivalent
Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship or Valid Permanent Resident status is required- No sponsorship offered
