Responsibilities

Manage procurement processes: The Procurement Analyst is responsible for managing procurement processes, including identifying and evaluating potential vendors, negotiating contracts and pricing, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services

Analyze procurement data: The Procurement Analyst is responsible for analyzing procurement data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost savings and process improvements

Monitor supplier performance: The Procurement Analyst is responsible for monitoring supplier performance, including quality, delivery, and compliance with contractual obligations

Maintain procurement records: The Procurement Analyst is responsible for issuing and maintaining procurement records, including contracts, purchase orders, and invoices. This includes entering PO’s into the ERP system

Collaborate with cross-functional teams: The Procurement Analyst collaborates with cross-functional teams, such as Engineering, Production, and Finance, to ensure that procurement activities support the company's strategic goals and objectives

Develop and implement procurement policies and procedures: The Procurement Analyst is responsible for developing and implementing procurement policies and procedures that support the company's goals and objectives

Monitor industry trends: The Procurement Analyst is responsible for monitoring industry trends and best practices to identify opportunities for innovation and cost savings

Cost Saving Initiatives: The Procurement Analyst should proactively identify areas within the organization where savings could be found

Required

Associates Degree required

Strong understanding of supply chain management

Ability to identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement

Knowledgeable about sustainable materials and vendors

Excellent analytical skills

Detail-oriented

Ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and external vendors

Manage procurement processes, including identifying and evaluating potential vendors, negotiating contracts and pricing, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services

Analyze procurement data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost savings and process improvements

Monitor supplier performance, including quality, delivery, and compliance with contractual obligations

Issue and maintain procurement records, including contracts, purchase orders, and invoices

Enter PO's into the ERP system

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Engineering, Production, and Finance

Monitor industry trends and best practices to identify opportunities for innovation and cost savings

Proactively identify areas within the organization where savings could be found
