New Grad, Entry LevelInterstate Power Systems is looking for a Tank Inspector Apprentice at their Waterloo Iowa location. In this hands-on apprenticeship, you'll receive comprehensive training to become certified in inspecting and testing various types of tanks, including refined fuels and LP tanks.

Responsibilities
This is an Entry Level position, developing and learning a skilled trade while working with Factory Trained/Certified Technicians
Entry level troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair on refined fuels, LP tanks and 407 trailers, among others
Will train and grow entry level techs into fully Certified and Registered Inspectors
Diagnose, repair, adjust, and modify all heavy-duty components associated with Cargo Tanks
Positive interface with service writers, foreman, parts department, and customers
Keep paperwork updated and handed in upon completion
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
A strong desire to learn and grow your technical skill set with tank inspection and heavy-duty trucks/trailers
Be able to work with diagnostic computers for troubleshooting and repairs
Must have your own set of general tools. Tool program is available for qualified applicants
Use computers for web-based training and work order system
Must be physically able to lift and work with no restrictions
Preferred
CDL is preferred but not required
Welding/Fabrication experience is a plus
