Responsibilities

Providing intake assessments for adults for the Adult Outpatient Program (AOP) under the Outpatient Services Division
Assesses adults with emotional and behavioral health issues, including severe and persistent mental illness
Provides comprehensive behavioral health assessments for adults by completing a comprehensive Bio-Psychosocial in conjunction with other assessment tools
Assess treatment and other needs, determine appropriate levels of care and diagnosis to establish medical necessity
Diagnosing and assessing needs related to Social Determinants of Health, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and any needed referrals
Ensures assessments are delivered using standards of trauma informed care principles
Ensures that plans and clinical interventions address issues regarding how trauma impacts individual and family functioning
Ensures that services are tailored to the unique culture of the client
Responsible for meeting an annual client facing client care number of 1,316 hours annually
Achieving the minimum required weekly, monthly and annual client facing client care hours is an essential function of this position

Required

Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field required
A minimum of two years' relevant clinical experience in working with at-risk SPMI and ED for Adult and Child clients is required

Preferred

licensed or licensed eligible in one of the healing arts, is strongly preferred
Knowledge of DSM-5TR and ICD-9 diagnostic codes preferred
Experience conducting biopsychosocial assessments and/or crisis evaluations in clinical, community, or hospital settings is preferred
