Responsibilities
System Administration: Provision, install, and configure hardware and software across servers, desktops, and network devices
Technical Support: Lead troubleshooting efforts to identify and resolve root causes of technical issues
Maintenance & Optimization: Perform proactive system maintenance and implement improvements to enhance performance and reliability
Network Management: Assist in managing network hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and related equipment
Server Operations: Handle tasks such as user/group management, security permissions, group policies, and print services; monitor logs and system resources
Data Center Monitoring: Use management tools to track health and respond to hardware alerts promptly
Infrastructure Oversight: Maintain internal IT assets-laptops, desktops, servers, printers, phones-and support LAN/WAN connectivity
Help Desk Leadership: Provide technical support and guide troubleshooting to resolve complex issues
Compliance & Audits: Conduct routine audits of systems, including backups and security updates
Qualification
Required
Proven success in an IT infrastructure or operations role
Strong knowledge of operating systems and networking fundamentals
Experience in project management, application integration, and cloud technologies
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Information Technology or Computer Science
Ability to lift 50+ lbs when handling hardware
Preferred
Previous help desk experience is a plus
