Responsibilities

Designing and developing unique styles to Colony Brands specifications
Creating flat sketches in Illustrator for design development that include garment construction callouts and details
Creating exclusive prints/patterns and embellishments using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
Leading Design team efforts to research and present seasonal trend information that is relevant to our customer

Required

Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Technical Design or related art field
5+ years of Apparel and Technical Design experience
2+ years of pattern development experience
Print and pattern development experience
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
Knowledge of web-based tech pack PLM software
High creative aptitude and sensibility for merchandising
Ability to digitally sketch in adobe illustrator
Above average communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to think and develop 'out of the box' ideas
Ability to accurately assess color
Understanding and knowledge of Fabric
Attend fit sessions and work with Technical Design team to ensure proper fit of garments
