Responsibilities
Perform advanced maintenance operations during the night shift in the Dallas - Fort Worth, TX area
Perform a variety of tasks related to roadway maintenance, primarily roadway sweeping and debris removal
Occasionally perform tasks related to snow and ice control, and incident response
Adhere to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Jorgensen Company policies and procedures
Qualification
Required
Ability to work at varied heights
Exposure to using shovels, brooms, & various small hand tools
Must have a valid Driver's License
MOT (Traffic Control) certifications/courses
Clean driving record is essential
Must pass criminal background check
High School Diploma/GED
Maintain company standards for background checks (i.e. criminal record, driving record and controlled substance/drug testing)
Knowledge of local driving rules and regulations
Carry out simple arithmetic functions
Maintain proper safety equipment required for each job
Knowledge and ability to adapt to the latest technology
Ability to use smart phone and applications
Ability to adjust to changing work schedule
Ability to work safely under ranging environmental and weather conditions
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate hand/power tools
Ability to conduct routine maintenance/preventative maintenance on equipment (Greasing, equipment cleaning, etc)
Ability to follow directions from appointed supervisors
Preferred
Minimum 2 years of related experience
Ability to operate equipment such as wheel loaders, skid steers, powered sweeping equipment (mechanical or vacuum)
CDL license a plus
Bilingual: English/Spanish (read/write) preferred but not required
