Management and Program Analyst (Strategic Planner)

Responsibilities
Serving as a Strategic Planner on major mission or various program operations and activities requiring application of a wide range of qualitative and quantitative analyses, management support principles, and processing of current and historical data and statistics to determine future trends in establishing short-, middle-, and long-term organization planning and achieving Agency goals
Providing technical assistance and direct support to management in matters relating to strategic planning and policy, budget methodology and control, statistical research and performance measurement, congressional liaison, and making recommendations as needed
Planning, developing, and coordinating Agency briefings, presentations, and conferences for executive management
Representing the office as the Audit Program Manager, handling all aspects of Government Accountability Office/Office of Inspector General, investigations and audits

Experience: You qualify for the GS-14 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as: Directing, implementing, coordinating, and overseeing a major segment of a department-wide mission or administrative program; Providing technical assistance and direct support to management in matters relating to strategic and organizational planning with an international focus; planning, programming, budgeting, and accountability (PPBA); organizational and resource management, and planning systems; Developing, implementing, and performing sophisticated quantitative, qualitative, and statistical analyses on behalf of management that focus on long- and short-range plans, policies, and programs; Serving as a liaison between different organizations and groups to establish and achieve mission goals
