Field Application Development Associate (Multiplex & Multi-Omics Staining Automation)

OmicsVeu develops fully automated life sciences instruments and workflows that help labs increase throughput, reduce hands-on time, and improve reproducibility. They are seeking a Field Application Development Associate to support customer-facing activities including instrument installation, demos, training, and application/workflow support.

Responsibilities

Travel to customer sites to support:
Instrument installation, setup, and commissioning for fully automated instruments
On-site and remote demos focused on multiplex and multi-omics workflows
Customer training for lab staff on operation, best practices, and workflow execution
Support applications development and optimization for workflows such as:
Multiplex immunofluorescence (mIF)
In situ staining (tissue/slide-based workflows)
Related multi-omics or spatial workflows as applicable
Provide first-line field support and troubleshooting (instrument, software, consumables, assay setup)
Document field and applications work (installation checklists, training records, protocols/SOPs, site visit notes, feedback)
Collect customer feedback and communicate insights to internal teams (R&D, Product, Quality, and Commercial)
Represent OmicsVeu professionally at customer sites and occasional events (as needed)

Required

BS degree in Life Sciences (Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or related)
2+ years of laboratory experience (industry, academic, or research lab)
Interest in a customer-facing techno-commercial career path
Strong communication skills (comfortable teaching, presenting, and supporting end users)
Willingness to travel to customer sites for demos, training, and installations
Comfortable working hands-on with instruments and learning new technologies quickly

Preferred

Experience with one or more of the following: Immunofluorescence staining, multiplexing, tissue/slide-based workflows
In situ staining methods
Sample prep automation, liquid handling, lab automation systems
Basic instrument maintenance, troubleshooting, or method transfer
Experience training/onboarding others in a lab environment
Familiarity with application support, customer support, or pre-/post-sales collaboration
