Enterprise Architect

Infojini is seeking an Enterprise Architect for the State of NJ. The role involves making informed architectural decisions, managing application portfolios, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and implementation of technology solutions.

Responsibilities

Ability to make informed decisions under uncertainty, weigh multiple factors/constraints, consider long-term implications of architectural choices
Knowledge of electronic data processing platforms and software
Knowledge of database/data dictionary systems and applications
Knowledge of application portfolio management, software design patterns, application integration, legacy system modernization, app lifecycle mgmt
Knowledge of data modeling, data governance, master data management, data warehousing, analytics platforms, and data quality frameworks
Knowledge of infrastructure components, platforms, development tools, middleware, and technology standards. Both on-prem and cloud-based tech stacks
Ability to prepare clear, accurate, informative reports/documentation on database systems, including creation/maintenance of data dictionary docs
Ability to collaborate effectively with project teams and stakeholders at all levels
Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally with various levels of data center and department personnel
Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Ability to maintain essential records and files
Ability to learn how to utilize various types of electronic and/or manual recording and information systems used by the agency
Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English sufficiently to perform the duties of the position
Experience in government or regulatory environments

Preferred

TOGAF Certification, Certified Enterprise Architect, or similar recognized enterprise architecture credentials that demonstrate formal training
AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certifications
Multi-cloud experience is particularly valuable
Proven track record leading large-scale digital transformation initiatives, cloud migrations, or enterprise modernization programs from start to end
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and modern software development lifecycle practices
Comfort presenting to executive leadership, board members, or external stakeholders
Ability to communicate complex technical strategies in business terms
