Entry, Mid LevelWestpac New Zealand is seeking a Relationship Associate in their Corporate Banking team. The role involves providing credit and financial analytical expertise to support corporate clients, ensuring sound credit management practices, and undertaking dynamic risk management.

Responsibilities
Safeguarding the health of the portfolio by applying sound credit management practices
Supporting Relationship Managers in achieving optimal customer outcomes
Producing accurate, concise, and well-reasoned credit submissions
Undertaking dynamic risk management through the timely monitoring of financial triggers, covenant compliance, and the completion of periodic risk reviews
Continuous oversight of risk in accordance with policy standards and required timeframes
Qualification
Required
Strong knowledge of banking products and the New Zealand corporate banking business market
Commercial and corporate insight into New Zealand's business and economic environment
Current or prior experience in a similar role
Proven experience in financial analysis and credit
Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and credit risk
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred
A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or Business (preferred but not essential)
Familiarity with legal documentation would be advantageous
