Tennessee Valley Authority is seeking interns for the Fall 2026 Internship/Co-Op program in Finance and Accounting. Interns will gain real-world experience in various accounting and finance functions, supporting financial transactions, cash flow management, and decision-making processes within the organization.

Responsibilities

Become familiar with the TVA business, organization, key decision makers, business processes and procedures. The intern will have the opportunity to interact with leaders and team members while learning the key components that drive their business unit’s strategic direction

Develop working knowledge of critical business functions as outlined by the intern’s manager and business unit

Learn to apply policies and procedures across the organizations: recommend continuous improvement changes in support of business needs and proactively develop an understanding of policies, procedures, and culture and communicate these to new and existing employees

Must be currently enrolled in a college/university program at the time of internship

Must have 30 semester hours completed
