Responsibilities

Plan and Document Review: Understand project requirements before fieldwork; accurately record observations and test results related to construction materials

Metafield® Utilization: Efficiently manage data using field and laboratory information systems

Equipment Maintenance: Ensure field and lab tools are accurate and meet industry standards

Special Inspection Observations: Follow International Building Code (IBC) standards for testing and inspecting construction materials

Stakeholder Communication: Engage with management, contractors, and clients to report project progress and address any concerns

Required

A High School diploma/GED

0-2 years of experience in construction testing/inspections of soil, concrete, masonry, and/or asphalt materials

Effective communication skills (speaking, reading, and writing) using the English language

Math skills with a basic understanding of weight, volume, pressure, and units of measure

Preferred

One(1) or more active certifications, a plus: American Concrete Institute (ACI): Field Testing Grade I; Strength Testing Technician; Laboratory Technician

International Code Council (ICC): Special Inspector (Reinforced Concrete, Masonry, Soils)

DOT Certifications in the fields of Aggregate, Conventional Density, Asphalt, and Concrete
