Director of HVAC Segment
DSG Supply is seeking a Director of HVAC Segment to drive growth through enterprise-level strategy and scalable business models. This role focuses on segment revenue, market expansion, and profitability while ensuring alignment across cross-functional leaders for sales growth and customer value priorities.

Responsibilities
Lead the HVAC segment’s multi-year growth strategy aligned with DSG’s corporate objectives and vision
Own segment revenue growth, market expansion, and profitability, setting clear growth targets and priorities
Assess market dynamics and competitive trends to inform strategy and alignment decisions
Identify and evaluate growth opportunities across products, services, customer segments, and go-to-market approaches
Drive the development of scalable, enterprise-wide solutions and playbooks that enable consistent growth, execution, and create customer value across the organization
Provide strategic leadership for key supplier partnerships, including program alignment, negotiations, and governance
Set the direction for the HVAC supplier alliance and services portfolio to ensure strong market positioning and relevance
Partner with Sales leadership to drive segment sales strategy, pipeline development, and market penetration
Guide sales enablement priorities to build product expertise and accelerate effectiveness
Collaborate with cross-functional leaders (Operations, Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, Pricing, Digital) to support scalable execution
Own segment profitability performance and monitor KPIs to assess progress and adjust strategy
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing segment team while fostering a customer- and growth-oriented culture
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in wholesale distribution leadership roles
Deep knowledge of HVAC business, technologies, and product ecosystem (residential, commercial, hydronics, controls, etc.)
Strong strategic thinking and business planning expertise
Excellent communication and executive-level presentation abilities
Ability to lead through influence in a matrix environment
Proficiency in data-driven decision-making and financial analysis
Ability to travel regularly to branches, suppliers, industry events, and customers
