Responsibilities
Own the multi-year product strategy and roadmap for Zillow’s screening ecosystem, covering identity verification, credit and background data, and regulatory compliance
Partner with Engineering to evolve the screening platform for greater scalability, reliability, modularity, and speed to innovate
Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and Partner teams to ensure reliability and fairness across millions of screening decisions
Define success metrics for performance, trust, and conversion, establishing dashboards and continuous learning loops
Translate complex technical and regulatory dependencies into clear, outcome-oriented narratives for senior leadership
Mentor other PMs across the Rentals organization, raising the bar for product craftsmanship and strategic depth
Qualification
Required
8+ years in a Product Management role, with a focus on building consumer-facing technology products
Customer-obsessed mindset, able to balance the needs of multiple personas to deliver products embraced by the market
Track record of shipping and scaling products that handle sensitive data or high transaction volume
Strong project management and organizational skills
Experience influencing cross-functional teams and executives through data, storytelling, and clarity of thought
Outstanding eye for business, and ability to make data informed decisions with big financial impact
Strong sense of ownership and capability to prioritize across multiple intersecting initiatives and deliver solutions to market
Preferred
Ecommerce and/or marketplace experience preferred
