Responsibilities

Assist with research-related responsibilities, including data analysis, to support the execution of health equity projects
Acquire knowledge of research function
Perform research analysis duties
Conduct statistical analysis, systems programming, and database design to perform research analysis duties
Effectively manage time and see assigned parts of projects through to completion on deadline
Utilize basic consultation and communication skills
Apply data analysis skills (quantitative)
Use statistical software programs (e.g., SAS, STATA, R)
Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills to relate easily and effectively with people within and outside the University
Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
Multi-task and prioritize effectively
Use a personal computer and software programs at the level of sophistication required for general office work
Familiarize with the Internet and conduct searches
Prepare/compose/review a variety of communications, primarily electronic

Required

Proficient writing skills to prepare/compose/review a variety of communications, primarily electronic
Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training
Master's Degree (or substantial experience) in a related health-related field
A minimum of 5 years of experience
5 years of data analysis experience

Preferred

A minimum of 1 year of experience
Previous experience in social & behavioral research, environmental health, and/or health promotion program
