The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company is seeking a talented Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Developer to join their local team in Marysville. This role involves building seamless shopping experiences and ensuring high-quality construction, site health, and performance for their digital storefront.

Responsibilities

SFRA Development: Build, maintain, and optimize high-visibility features on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud (B2C) platform using Storefront Reference Architecture (SFRA)
Technical Design: Translate functional requirements and high-level business goals into detailed SFCC technical designs and implementation plans
Platform Governance: Proactively monitor and own platform health activities, including the review, mitigation, and resolution of error logs and site performance issues
Gap Analysis: Perform thorough gap analysis between business requirements and out-of-the-box SFCC features to design effective customizations
Integrations: Identify and manage third-party software integrations (Payment, OMS, CRM, Marketing Tools) and document the dependencies within the system ecosystem
De-risking Delivery: Utilize proofs-of-concept (spike solutions) to validate technical approaches, provide accurate estimates, and de-risk complex feature rollouts
End-to-End Support: Diagnose and resolve technical problems related to commerce implementation, including RESTful services and external API connections

Required

Proven professional experience as a developer within the Salesforce Commerce Cloud (B2C) ecosystem
Solid hands-on experience with SFRA (Storefront Reference Architecture)
Strong knowledge of JavaScript (Controllers, Scripts, Models), HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end build tools
Experience with RESTful Service Architecture and integrating third-party APIs
Knowledge of the end-to-end Order Management (OMS) lifecycle and common e-commerce workflows
A commitment to building a 'quality engineering culture'—focusing on performance, scalability, security, and availability
You are constantly looking for ways to improve outcomes and the customer experience without waiting for a nudge
You thrive in fast-paced environments and are resourceful when faced with complex, ambiguous technical challenges
Strong interpersonal, writing, and communication skills; able to establish working relationships across all levels of the organization
