Responsibilities

Complete assigned task by following written procedures and verbal instructions. Task assignments may be changed often. Tasks include assembly of medical devices, inspection at various steps in the assembly process, labeling and packaging. Some assembly operations may require the use of simple testing or inspection equipment during the process

Must be able to meet established labor standards for the operations or processes being worked on. Must be versatile and be able to handle a variety of hand tools

Able to read and write English at a 7th grade level in order to understand and follow written manufacturing and inspection procedures

Perform daily/weekly cleaning tasks in the controlled manufacturing environment and/or the facility in general

May be asked to cross-train in other areas such as QC inspection or Material Control

An ability to work closely with all levels of peers and Supervisory/Management staff is essential

Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. intermittently

Must have ability to walk up and down stairs and walk extended distances as needed

Preferred

Previous experience in medical device manufacturing/assembly operations is desirable
