Fanatics is seeking an Engineer II – Data to develop analytics engineering abstractions and create reusable data assets for DS/AI/ML models. The role involves collaborating with BI and Compliance teams, building automated data quality tests, and mentoring junior data engineers.

Responsibilities

Develop analytics engineering abstraction
Create reusable data assets for DS/AI/ML models
Work with BI and Compliance teams to define and implement requirements for key regulatory and financial reporting
Build automated data quality and validation tests
Become a subject matter expert on sports betting/gaming industry domain data concepts, and build data models to represent those concepts
Participate and lead data engineering code reviews, inspect for quality and reusability
Leverage data engineering expertise to advocate for correct data storage options and software service integrations
Mentor junior data engineers

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Informatics, Data Science, or closely related
1 year experience in job offered or 1 year in data engineering
