As a Receiver / Inventory Control Clerk, you will oversee Direct Store Delivery operations, ensuring merchandise is checked, accounted for, and presented on the sales floor while maintaining organization and security in the backroom.

Responsibilities
Overseeing all Direct Store Delivery (DSD) operations
Ensuring that all merchandise delivered to the store is checked, accounted for, and brought out to the floor
Walking the entire store daily to scan DSD and address areas of under or over ordering and/or out of stock conditions
Communicating with the Store Director, order writers, night crew employees, merchandisers, and the File Maintenance Clerk
Monitoring donations
Being responsible for grocery and non-perishable inventories
Maintaining backroom security, cleanliness, and organization
Ensuring all equipment works properly
Qualification
Required
Prior customer service skills or related experience
Ability to maintain cleanliness, security, and organization of the backroom area
Ability to monitor all damaged, expired, or salvageable merchandise and returns for credit
Basic computer knowledge, including email, Excel, and store portal
Ability to solve problems, make decisions, and work independently
Ability to interact with vendors, delivery drivers, customers, co-workers, and management
Ability to lift/carry 5-50 lbs, push/pull 10-50 lbs products, and stand/walk continuously
