NEOGOV is seeking a Watershed Engagement Intern to work with the Engagement Department at a local watershed district. The role involves assisting with community education, engagement, and outreach efforts throughout the growing season, including event planning and classroom support for K-12 programming.

Responsibilities

Work with the Engagement Department at a local watershed district to assist with community education, community engagement, and outreach efforts throughout the growing season

Activities include tabling at community events; assisting with the annual family festival in June; working with our education team at pop-up events or workshops; helping plan the Landscape Ecology Awards Program tour; and supporting Watershed Week

Work will include some classroom support for our K-12 programming

Event planning, training, and coordination support will be a part of the internship experience
