Responsibilities
Lead and execute structural design assignments for transportation and infrastructure projects, including bridges and related structures
Produce and deliver high-quality structural drawings and plans using software such as MicroStation, OBD/OBM, and DOT design tools
Ensure project delivery within defined scope, budget, schedule, and quality standards
Collaborate across disciplines — interfacing with engineering teams, planners, and stakeholders to support successful project execution
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
Participate in project reviews, design coordination meetings, and quality control processes
Qualification
Required
8+ years of progressive structural engineering experience
A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Active PE license (required)
Demonstrated experience in MicroStation, OBD/OBM, and FDOT bridge plan production
Strong background in reinforced and prestressed concrete bridge design, with familiarity using DOT design software and MathCad preferred
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills
