Responsibilities

Manage and deliver a wide variety of water resources projects including sediment transport, flood risk management, and dam safety
Build and maintain strong relationships with SEH clients while mentoring and growing internal staff

Qualification

Civil EngineeringLicensed Professional EngineerOpen channel hydraulics modelingHydraulic modeling softwareDamLevee design2D Hydraulic modelsCFD ModelingMentoring engineersTeam collaborationCommunication skills

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field
Licensed Professional Engineer in the United States with the ability to obtain licensure in the state of Minnesota
Demonstrated previous experience with open channel hydraulics modeling
Knowledge of hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software such as HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, InfoWorksICM, or PCSWMM
Ability to travel as needed for team meetings, client consultations, on-site inspections/visits, etc.; Occasional overnight travel will be required

Preferred

Experience in dam and levee design, engineering, and construction
Experience in 2D Hydraulic models
CFD Modeling experience
Experience working with a team of drainage engineers, civil engineers and highway designers to deliver large transportation projects
Experience and interested in supervising and mentoring other engineers and team members
Excellent written and oral communication skills
