S&T Bank is offering a Summer Internship Program that provides participants with meaningful, practical, real-life experience in the banking industry. Interns will assist with various tasks including data entry, report organization, and research while developing their skills and knowledge in a professional setting.

Responsibilities

Assist with the creation of a centralized repository of system codes and definitions

Assist with organizing reports and their documentation

Assist with evaluating the usage of reports and discontinuing reports that are no longer needed

Possess a proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Operates PC equipment as needed to process information, prepare reports and perform research

Enters data into spreadsheets and databases to process and prepare reports

Occasionally travels to various locations; valid driver’s license required

Performs research and/or analysis on special projects, as assigned

Maintains a good working relationship with bank employees

Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently, as well as motivated to work as a team player to contribute to the success of the department and in turn, the organization

Performs additional duties as required

Required

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent education

In pursuit of a four-year degree in data science, computer science, applied mathematics, statistics, finance, accounting, economics, business, or related

Possess a proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Operates PC equipment as needed to process information, prepare reports and perform research

Enters data into spreadsheets and databases to process and prepare reports

Occasionally travels to various locations; valid driver's license required

Use of manual dexterity skills for typing and data entry up to 60% of the business day

Specific vision requirements include close vision of 18”-20” for computer work

Must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 lbs
