Responsibilities

Perform the most complex, journey-level analytical and technical work in support of the Client Financial Services
Conduct policy and regulatory research
Stay current on applicable guidance to ensure program alignment with evolving requirements
Make recommendations to management
Assist with Porterville Developmental Center and Canyon Springs Community Facility

Required

Candidates must be residents of the State of California at the time of appointment
This position requires lawful authorization to work in the United States

Preferred

Knowledge of: Accounting, auditing, and reimbursement principles
Interpret and apply federal and state healthcare regulations
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Experience conducting research on statutes, regulations, and policies, and summarizing findings for management
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Excel, Outlook, and Teams)
Ability to develop, update, and maintain procedures and documents
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritize multiple assignments
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to resolve complex billing or compliance issues
Ability to use tact, professionalism, and collaboration when working with all levels of staff, management, and our community
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to contribute to a team-oriented environment
Ability to work with short timelines and due dates
