Responsibilities
Provide operational and clinical leadership for the ICU ensuring safe, high-quality, and patient-centered critical care delivery
Build, develop, and lead teams focused on quality improvement initiatives, performance metrics, patient safety, and clinical excellence
Collaborate with hospital leadership, nursing teams, physicians, and interdisciplinary departments to meet ICU goals and standards
Monitor ICU performance, compliance, staffing, workflows, and efficiency; implement improvements to optimize care delivery and outcomes
Support strategic planning and quality initiatives aligned with hospital objectives and regulatory requirements
Strengthen communication, engagement, accountability, and staff development within the ICU team
Facilitate collaboration and relationships with providers/physicians to support high-quality critical care services
Ensure initiatives focused on clinical excellence, operational improvement, and patient safety are executed effectively
Qualification
Required
Active (or eligible) New Mexico RN License (required)
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) (required)
7+ years of healthcare experience
3+ years in a leadership role
Experience working in a for-profit hospital environment (strongly preferred)
Proven experience building and leading teams focused on quality initiatives
Strong clinical leadership, communication, and team development skills
Preferred
Advanced degree strongly preferred: MSN
Healthcare Administration
MBA
Experience facilitating relationships with providers/physicians
