PreVeil is a category-leading cybersecurity SaaS company seeking a Director of New Market Development to expand its platform into new industries such as Healthcare, Legal, Tax, and Financial Services. This role involves strategic thinking, customer discovery, and cross-functional collaboration to build and scale new lines of business outside of Defense.

Responsibilities

Assess and prioritize high-potential verticals through rapid market research and customer interviews
Design and test go-to-market strategies
Run structured pilots and MVPs to validate messaging, pricing, and channel strategies
Engage early customers to refine messaging and workflows
Partner with Engineering and Product on compliance-driven feature evolution
Work with Marketing, Sales, and Channel Partners to operationalize and scale traction based on validated learnings

Qualification

Required

BS/MS in a technical or quantitative field, or demonstrated technical fluency
2–5 years in consulting, strategy, GTM, or product-adjacent roles with a track record of building and scaling new markets or business lines
Experience running experiments, testing hypotheses, and making data-driven decisions in uncertain environments
Experience working closely with engineering or product teams
Demonstrated use of generative AI to drive efficiency in market research, customer discovery, or GTM initiatives
Entrepreneurial and analytical; thrives in ambiguity
Comfortable with experimentation, iteration, and pivoting based on market feedback
Excellent communicator; strong cross-functional leadership
Strong problem solver with a bias toward execution

Preferred

MBA or equivalent business experience
Exposure to regulated industries helpful but not required
