Responsibilities
Analyze and advise management of workflow issues and data integrity problems and offer recommendations on resolution
Support library departments with data collection and reporting
Design and present statistical data to support resource assessment and annual reports, such as IPEDS and SACS
Compile and analyze usage of electronic resources and supports renewal planning
Interpret and normalize data from industry standard usage statistic frameworks including SUSHI and COUNTER
Create and maintain procedural documentation related to responsibilities and duties of the position
Consistently display excellent customer service through positive interaction and communication with other JFL departments, library customers, and other LU departments as needed
Remain abreast of existing and emerging technologies, processes, products, services, and leading industry performance benchmarks
Strictly adhere to Liberty University policies, representing the University in an exemplary manner
Work effectively as a team member, embracing and fostering LU’s mission
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree
Demonstrate significant proficiency with Excel
Experience in data analysis and reporting
Two years of relevant experience
Bachelor's degree

Demonstrated proficiency with report writing tools such as Argos, SSRS, or Tableau
Demonstrated experience in data analysis and reporting
Three years of relevant experience
Master's degree
Demonstrate advanced proficiency with Excel, PowerBI, or SQL
Demonstrated excellence with report writing tools such as Argos, SSRS, or Tableau
Demonstrated experience with Python or R
Knowledge of SPSS
Four years of relevant experience
Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing to convey clear, well-articulated information
Ability to understand, speak, and write English in order to convey messages and correspond in an articulate and professional manner
Possess public communication skills that allow professional representation of Liberty University
Strong organizational skills
Strong computer and technical skills
Thoughtfully able to reason, analyze information and events, and apply judgment in order to solve problems of both a routine and complex nature
Frequently required to sit for extended periods to perform deskwork or type on a keyboard
