Responsibilities

Provide onsite and remote support for desktop, server, peripheral, and network connectivity issues
Diagnose and resolve workstation and application issues (Microsoft Windows), including printers and other peripherals
Troubleshoot TCP/IP connectivity (DNS, DHCP, routing, Wi-Fi/VLAN fundamentals) and coordinate escalation when required
Assist with server support activities, including basic Active Directory tasks, patching, backups, and service monitoring
Support virtualized environments and storage systems (VMware/Hyper-V exposure; NAS/SAN familiarity)
Deploy and maintain endpoint security and protection tools (anti-malware, firewall/endpoint protection, patching)
Document work performed, maintain network/system documentation, and keep accurate asset and configuration records
Support data center operations and monitoring functions, including troubleshooting physical plant and cabling issues when needed

Qualification

Required

Working knowledge of Microsoft client and server operating systems
Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts and troubleshooting
Professional customer service skills with clear verbal and written communication
Ability to prioritize and triage multiple issues while maintaining attention to detail
Comfort working independently and collaboratively within a team

Preferred

Exposure to virtualized server environments (VMware and/or Hyper-V)
Exposure to NAS and SAN storage systems
Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools
Industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft certifications) or equivalent hands-on experience
