Excellerate Quality Technician

Construction
Responsibilities
Responsible for a clean and orderly work area at all times according to 5S principles
Works with Value Stream Leaders to help define and implement quality requirements, plans, checklists, and other deliverables
Provide inspection related reports and support material as required
Ensures the Non-Conforming Material (NCM) process is properly utilized when needed; and leads the tagging, logging and quarantine of NCM materials
Provides updates to the Excellerate Quality team on the status of any quality issues discovered
Coordinates the collection of quality data in manufacturing (inspection results, checklists, torque values, pictures, certifications, etc.)
Conducts scheduled or random quality inspections on raw materials, work in process, and finished assemblies
Conducts quality inspections for conduit systems, lighting, equipment, and other basic electrical/control systems and feeders
Identifies potential quality issues from review of construction documents
Analyzes upcoming tasks based on manufacturing schedules and anticipates equipment installation for completion of assigned scope
Plans for, completes, and implements assignments and responsibilities in a timely manner
Demonstrates and acceptance of the Company Culture (adhere to company values) and adoption of professional standards
Demonstrates approachability and ability to collaborate with others effectively
Updates schedules, trackers, logs, and other forms through multiple platforms (G-Sheets, Smartsheet, ACC, BIM 360, etc.)
Performs all assigned tasks while maintaining FTI’s commitment to Safety
Performs other related duties as required and assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED
0-3 years of quality management experience
Ability to sustain a safe work environment
Ability to support the implementation of quality plans
Ability to conduct quality inspections on raw materials, work in process, and finished assemblies
Ability to coordinate the collection of quality data in manufacturing
Ability to analyze upcoming tasks based on manufacturing schedules
Ability to demonstrate approachability and collaborate with others effectively
Ability to perform all assigned tasks while maintaining commitment to Safety
