The Clinical Lab Scientist Specialist will perform waived, moderate, and high complexity testing, evaluate test results, and provide laboratory services while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities
Under general supervision, performs waived, moderate, and high complexity testing; evaluates test results; performs and evaluates quality control procedures; performs preventive maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting
Provides laboratory services in a timely manner and consistently delivers excellent customer service
Serves as a technical resource for customers, other staff
Adheres to all safety policies
Qualification
Required
Graduation from college with a major in an appropriate scientific field
Two (2) or more years of relevant experience
Current Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) or approved subspecialty license issued by the State of California Department of Public Health
Knowledge and abilities essential to the successful performance of duties assigned to the position
Preferred
Clinical laboratory experience
Clinical laboratory experience in Molecular Genetics
Clinical Genetic Molecular Biology (CGMBS)
