Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end program management for cloud data modernization and migration initiatives (Teradata → Databricks/Snowflake)
Define and execute the migration strategy, roadmap, milestones, and delivery plans in collaboration with architects, data engineers, and cloud teams
Establish program governance , including KPIs, metrics, dashboards, and executive reporting
Manage cross-functional stakeholders across business, infrastructure, cloud, and data engineering teams
Oversee risk, issue, and dependency management with proactive mitigation strategies
Drive and coordinate multiple workstreams including:
Data ingestion and pipelines
ETL/ELT modernization
Data quality and validation
Security, governance, and compliance
Partner with vendors, system integrators, and third-party teams to manage deliverables and performance
Drive Agile / Hybrid delivery models (Scrum, SAFe) across distributed teams
Ensure alignment with cloud best practices, data security standards, and enterprise architecture
Present program health, risks, and progress to executive leadership in a structured, actionable manner
Qualification
Required
15–25 years of experience in Program / Project Management with large-scale data modernization or transformation programs
Proven leadership in Teradata migration projects, preferably to Databricks and/or Snowflake
Strong technical understanding of cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and cloud-native data ecosystems
Solid knowledge of data engineering and analytics pipelines: ETL / ELT, Spark, SQL, Modern Data Lakehouse architectures
Extensive experience in stakeholder management, budgeting, and vendor governance
Hands-on experience with Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or hybrid delivery methodologies
Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills
Experience working in regulated industries (Finance, Healthcare, etc.) is a plus
Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar tools
