Responsibilities

Minimum of 10+ years of experience in systems engineering, infrastructure engineering, or a related IT role, preferably in a Biotech environment

Familiarity with industrial automation systems and vendor compatibility requirements for patching

Demonstrated experience administering Windows Server environments, including installation, configuration, patching, and troubleshooting

Strong working knowledge of Active Directory, including user and group management, Group Policy, DNS, and authentication services

Proven experience managing operating system and application patching in regulated or controlled environments, including risk assessment, testing, deployment, and rollback planning

Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware and/or Hyper-V, including virtual machine lifecycle management

Experience supporting enterprise backup and recovery solutions

Familiarity with segregated IT/OT or security-zoned networks and the operational considerations associated with controlled environments

Experience with change management, documentation, and audit support, preferably within a regulated or compliance-driven organization

Working knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, including endpoint protection, access controls, and vulnerability remediation

Strong troubleshooting skills across servers, operating systems, applications, and networks

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver results in a production environment
