Group Sales Manager- Hyatt Centric Wall Street NYC
Blue Sky Hospitality Solutions is seeking a Group Sales Manager for Hyatt Centric Wall Street in New York City. This role is responsible for driving group room and catering revenue by establishing client relationships, generating new business, and managing existing accounts to meet sales goals.

Responsibilities
Proactively solicit new group business through cold calling, prospecting, sales calls, site tours, networking, and referrals
Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified group leads
Convert leads into definite bookings by negotiating rates, contracts, and concessions in alignment with revenue management strategy
Achieve or exceed monthly and annual group room night and revenue targets
Manage assigned corporate, association, government, SMERF, and social accounts
Maintain long-term relationships to drive repeat and referral business
Conduct client meetings, property tours, and presentations as needed
Monitor account production and adjust strategy to maximize share and profitability
Prepare and negotiate group contracts, including room blocks, attrition, and concessions
Ensure all details are clearly documented and communicated to internal departments
Partner with Revenue Management, Operations, and Events teams to ensure smooth execution of group programs
Track market trends, competitor pricing, and group demand in the Downtown NYC and Financial District markets
Identify new verticals and demand patterns to capitalize on revenue opportunities
Accurately forecast group revenue and room nights
Maintain up-to-date records in Hyatt sales systems and CRM
Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly production reports
Qualification
Required
Minimum 2–4 years of hotel group sales experience, preferably in NYC or a major urban market
Strong understanding of group sales, revenue management, and hotel contracting
Experience with Hyatt systems (Delphi, Envision, or similar) preferred
Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating with operations, revenue, and catering teams
Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals
Preferred
Experience selling in Lower Manhattan, Financial District, or Downtown NYC
Knowledge of corporate, government, financial, association, and SMERF markets
Experience working in lifestyle or boutique-style hotel brands
