Responsibilities

Sales Leadership: Develop and execute divisional sales strategy aligned with corporate goals; set measurable targets; monitor pipeline and performance using Salesforce
Business Development: Identify new opportunities, expand strategic accounts, and leverage cross-selling; represent SCS at industry events and thought leadership forums
Marketing Collaboration: Partner with Marketing to align campaigns with sales objectives; support events and collateral development
Team Management: Recruit, train, and mentor sales team; set clear objectives; conduct performance reviews; foster collaboration and professional growth
Market Intelligence: Stay informed on regulatory trends and competitive landscape; advise leadership on emerging opportunities
Client Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with corporate sustainability and CSR teams; deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs
Strategic Innovation: Identify emerging market trends and craft strategies to monetize new climate services

Required

Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (Business, Marketing, Finance, Communications, or STEM preferred)
5+ years of experience in an outside sales capacity within the field
5+ years of leadership experience in people management of a sales team, account management team, technical team, or customer success team
Expertise in restructuring, building, growing, and/or managing a sales, operations, or client-focused team
Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
Highly organized with well-developed organizational skills
Proficient in Salesforce CRM
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Initiative, good judgment, and ability to work independently under pressure in a changing environment

Preferred

Master's Degree in Business
Development and effective implementation of marketing plans, strategies, and tactics
