Responsibilities

Evaluate operational and IT processes, systems, and internal controls

Plan, conduct, and document audits in compliance with professional auditing standards

Identify, assess, and evaluate risks and control effectiveness within audit areas

Develop and execute audit programs with appropriate testing criteria

Review policies, procedures, and related documentation to understand audit scope

Prepare, draft, and issue audit reports and formal communications

Follow up on prior audit recommendations to ensure corrective actions are implemented

Recommend improvements to processes, procedures, and internal controls

Exercise professional judgment within established procedures and practices

Review audit work papers for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with standards

Provide guidance, mentoring, and training to junior team members

Participate in cross-functional projects, consulting engagements, and special investigations

Coordinate and interface with external auditors when required

Perform audits with complex or ambiguous scope requiring advanced data analysis

Apply specialized technical knowledge in operations and IT controls as appropriate
