Responsibilities

Conduct lab-scale experiments on DryMix formulations, including performance testing and material characterization

Evaluate technical and operational feasibility of prioritized innovation ideas

Assist in market and competitive research to support go-to-market strategy development

Prepare technical summaries, test reports, and presentations for internal stakeholders

Collaborate with engineering, sales, marketing, and operations teams to align technical solutions with business objectives

Develop and present a capstone Special Project to APG leadership with guidance and mentorship from the Innovation Engineering team

Qualification

Required

Currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related field. (Anticipated graduation date: Fall 2026 or Spring 2027)

Foundational knowledge of cementitious materials and construction chemistry

Familiarity with laboratory testing protocols (ASTM standards are a plus)

Comfortable working in laboratory and plant environments while following established safety protocols

Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills

Innovative thinker with an interest in sustainable construction and new materials

Demonstrated willingness to learn, adapt, and explore new technical challenges
