$80/hr - $120/hrTogetherhood is expanding to Boston and is seeking enthusiastic instructors to teach STEM-focused classes to K-12 students. Instructors will have the flexibility to create their own lesson plans and curriculum while fostering a passion for STEM subjects in children.
Responsibilities
Conceive of and create an age-appropriate curriculum for your class
Create memorable experience for the children in your class to help them grow and develop a passion for your STEM subject
Consistently arrive at your class on time (or early!), prepared with the lesson plan for the day
Help children understand why your STEM subject is so wonderful and how it's helped shape you as a person
Qualification
Required
Experience teaching school age children
Subject matter expertise in related sciences, tech, or math
Passion and skill for building hands-on projects with kids
Excitement, joy, and passion for both teaching kids and personal development/learning
Ability to create a fun, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
Bringing your own voice and creativity to each class you teach
Cooperative, supportive, flexible
Dependable, proactive, and thrives when given autonomy
Appreciates support and clear expectations
