Responsibilities

Lead the hardware design on a system or sub-system of a data center hardware product

Bring up systems and execute engineering validation in the lab

Gather requirements, define high level architecture, and execute hardware design and product validation

Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, product, and deployment teams to productize designs and field support

Drive product from concept to production

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience

2 years of experience working in a hardware design technical environment, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree

Experienced in electronics principles, circuit design, PCB design, and layout

Preferred

Master's or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field

Experience with enterprise-class hardware systems design and data center engineering, server, storage, and networking products

Experience with FPGA/CPLD design and interfacing with other disciplines, including software, signal integrity, thermal, and mechanical

Experience collecting and organizing details to reproduce results and explain the outcomes

Experience solving system issues, technical innovation, and driving technical roadmaps
