Engineering Manager

Responsibilities
Drive company-wide initiatives, pushing forward the company’s technical and product direction
Empower the engineering team to achieve a high level of technical productivity, reliability, and simplicity
Provide structure and guidance to help engineers grow and develop new skills
Champion engineering team culture, cultivating spaces that prioritize diversity, equity, and inclusion
Uphold security requirements and maintaining compliance with HIPAA security regulations
Qualification
Required
Independence, throughput, and velocity, an ability to drive and build projects from 0-to-1
Identify problems, build alignment, and execute solutions with a high degree of ownership and autonomy
Prioritization of engineering as a craft, beyond implementation that meets functional requirements
Maintain a high technical bar that strives for implementation as readable, maintainable, and scalable
Growth mindset, a mentality of approaching new things with excitement, and new skills can be improved through learning, effort, and persistence
