Data Systems Technician

Responsibilities

Perform data systems setup in accordance with documented instructions, manage component calibration, coordinate installation of additional equipment or test instructions with subject matter experts
Constantly monitor data acquisition systems during engine test to ensure data integrity, verify capture of required parameters, and confirm information is being sent to databank
Maintain digital files for data systems, manage and organize file database
Quickly identify when parameters are not reading appropriately and assist with the investigation, diagnosis, and alteration of affected instrumentation or systems- elevating issues to proper resources, as needed
Setup HMI systems, confirm proper integration between engine control and data platforms, assist in troubleshooting all associated software issues
Know operational forecast to proactively schedule calibrations, ensuring instrumentation is current and will not jeopardize test deadlines; update curves as needed; investigate out-of-tolerance and their effect on affiliated data readings and equipment

Required

Associate's degree or High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution

Preferred

Associate degree in an applicable technical discipline (i.e. PLC, Data Analytics, Data Science, Instrumentation Technology, Control Systems) and minimum of 4 years in related career field
Certification in network management (i.e. Cisco, Microsoft)
