DigitlHaus Agency is seeking a Senior Lead Project Manager to manage complex Shopify and BigCommerce projects while preparing for a future leadership role. This position involves project leadership, team management, and client communication to ensure successful project delivery and growth within the agency.

Responsibilities

Manage Shopify and BigCommerce custom design and development projects, including:

Medium to large custom builds

Migrations and replatforming

Integrations and headless projects

Ongoing managed services engagements

Create full project lifecycles from SOWs within the project management system

Build and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and task assignments

Ensure all deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with SOW requirements

Manage the full design process—from kickoff through approval—while coordinating internal designers and client feedback

Prepare projects for development by briefing internal teams on scope, requirements, and design intent

Support and answer platform and technical questions related to Shopify, BigCommerce, and eCommerce architecture

Oversee QA testing, development reviews, deployment, and final project delivery

Train and consult clients on platform best practices and post-launch considerations

Monitor project risks, priorities, and urgent issues, acting quickly to resolve blockers

Begin mentoring and supporting other project managers

Assist with workload planning, task distribution, and capacity balancing across PMs

Act as a point of escalation for complex project challenges or client issues

Help refine and improve project management workflows, tools, templates, and SOPs

Participate in post-project reviews to identify wins, challenges, and improvement opportunities

Collaborate closely with design, development, and operations leadership to strengthen cross-functional alignment

Prepare to step into broader ownership of the project management function as the agency grows

Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned client accounts

Lead client meetings, status calls, and milestone reviews with confidence and clarity

Manage client expectations around scope, timelines, risks, and deliverables

Resolve conflicts professionally while protecting both the client relationship and agency interests

Support leadership in high-profile or escalated client situations when needed
