Responsibilities

Managing and leading a high performing team of associates and potentially non-associates

Acting as a subject matter expert to effectively partner with key stakeholders to achieve desired outcome or improvement by clarifying needs and providing appropriate solutions (e.g. new intent, issue resolution, assessment model)

Assisting in the identification of risks, issues and/or mitigation plans to ensure the business implements needed changes and addresses areas of exposure

Coordinating, influencing and negotiating priorities with teams to ensure well managed goals/timelines are met; escalating when appropriate

Driving prioritization and understanding/articulating appropriate trade-offs

Establishing strong interaction models and relationships to collaborate and consult with key stakeholders

Streamlining interactions within the business related to risk mitigation, control/assessment progress and process improvement opportunities

Participating in risk forums and contribute to continuous improvement of risk management practices across Card to align Partnerships accordingly

Reviewing organizational performance outcomes to identify potential areas of risk exposure that require further review

Collecting data and information and using analytics and reporting to develop a reporting process that provides transparency to senior leadership and executives

Developing and maintaining formal process documentation including procedures, playbooks, and process flow diagrams that demonstrate the well managed infrastructure

Analyzing and resolving effective challenges from risk stakeholders (e.g.. ERM, ORM, Compliance, Audit)

Staying abreast of the changing regulatory environment and understanding the impacts to the Partnerships business
