Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain an enterprise-wide risk management framework
Own and oversee credit risk strategy, including underwriting policies, portfolio performance, and risk appetite
Monitor and manage operational, fraud, liquidity, and market risks
Collaborate with underwriting and data teams to enhance risk models, scorecards, and approval strategies
Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and legal requirements relevant to fintech and lending operations
Identify and assess emerging risks related to products, technology, partnerships, and market conditions
Drive continuous improvement of internal controls, policies, and procedures
Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on risk-related matters
Support audits, regulatory reviews, and third-party risk assessments
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in risk management within fintech, lending, banking, or financial services
Strong background in credit risk (consumer, SME, or alternative lending preferred)
Proven experience building and scaling risk frameworks in high-growth environments
Deep understanding of underwriting, risk modeling, and portfolio management
Familiarity with fintech regulatory requirements and compliance standards
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data insights into strategic recommendations
