Game Studio Office Coordinator

TapBlaze, the creator of games such as Good Pizza, Great Pizza, is looking for an organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Office Coordinator to support our Los Angeles studio. The role involves ensuring smooth office operations, supporting team logistics, and assisting with bookkeeping, payroll, and HR coordination.

Responsibilities

Ensure the LA office is clean, organized, safe, and welcoming for team members and visitors
Maintain office supplies, snacks, equipment, and inventory; track office budget
Improve office processes and workflows
Assist with travel planning, flight and hotel bookings, reimbursements, and itineraries
Support onboarding logistics (desk setup, equipment requests, admin setup)
Planning team events, celebrations, and offsites
Assist leadership with special projects
Help collect and organize receipts, invoices, and expense reports
Assist with maintaining financial records and communicating with our accounting firm
Bookkeeping on Quickbooks
Assist with coordinating timesheets, payroll inputs, and related documentation
Support HR activities such as: Job postings, Application screening, Onboarding/offboarding, Maintaining employee records and help ensure compliance with basic HR policies and procedures
Communicate with our Beijing office on coordination tasks
Translate English and Mandarin as needed during meetings
Help ensure smooth information flow across teams

Bachelor's degree
Los Angeles, CA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work
Prolonged period of time sitting at a desk and computer

Preferred

2-3 years of office administration or office manager experience preferred
Familiarity with HR systems, payroll systems, or accounting software (Quickbooks)
