Northern Bobwhite Field Technician-TX/1
The University of Georgia is a flagship institution in the state and is seeking a Northern Bobwhite Field Technician to assist with trapping, tracking, and monitoring of Northern Bobwhite in Texas. The role involves conducting fieldwork, data entry, and equipment maintenance while working independently in various outdoor conditions.

Qualification
Required
Applicants should possess a degree in wildlife management or working towards one or a related field
An interest in game bird management and ecology
A positive attitude and ability to be a team player
Previous experience with radio-telemetry and point counts is desired
Experience with Microsoft Excel, databases and ArcGIS is desired
Applicants will be comfortable working alone after dark and in areas where venomous snakes could be present
Applicants should be capable of lifting up to 25 lbs for brief periods and may work in inclement weather
