Credit Analyst / Portfolio Manager

Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive credit analysis by gathering and analyzing data related to clients’ financial statements, cash flow, and credit history
Underwrite loan applications by assessing risk factors, verifying collateral, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
Manage existing client portfolios through regular monitoring of financial performance, risk assessment, and proactive engagement to optimize returns
Develop detailed financial models and forecasts to support credit decisions and strategic planning initiatives
Perform quantitative research and data collection to identify trends, evaluate market conditions, and inform credit strategies
Negotiate loan terms, interest rates, and repayment schedules with clients to achieve mutually beneficial agreements while safeguarding company interests
Detect potential fraud or irregularities through diligent review processes and implement preventive measures to protect assets
Prepare clear, comprehensive financial reports that communicate findings effectively to stakeholders and senior management
Qualification
Required
Associate (Required)
Credit analysis: 2 years (Required)
Strong understanding of financial concepts including accounting principles, financial analysis, and risk analysis techniques
Proficiency in financial software tools for modeling, data analysis, and reporting purposes
Excellent quantitative research skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets accurately
Solid knowledge of banking operations, loan processing procedures, mortgage servicing, and technical accounting standards
Effective negotiation skills combined with a keen sense of risk mitigation strategies
Familiarity with fraud prevention techniques and compliance regulations within the financial services industry
Ability to perform cash flow analysis, forecasting, and valuation using advanced mathematical methods
Strong communication skills for writing detailed financial reports and presenting findings clearly
