Responsibilities
Own preparation of finance statements
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and lead the implementation of new accounting standards
Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors
Supervise month-end close and accounts payable processes
Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation
Lead and manage a team of senior accountants
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience, preferable a mix of experience in audit in public accounting and within accounting in a fast-growing company
Proficient in Sage Intacct, Bill.com, Airbase, and Avalara
Strong technical accounting knowledge (familiarity with various ASC's)
Ability to work independently and follow tasks through to completion, meeting deadlines
Strong critical thinking, organizational and time-management skills, with excellent attention to detail
Preferred
Experience working at a publicly-traded company preferred
SaaS experience preferred
